Newcastle Fringe Festival runs for the benefit of emerging artists. We strive to support them as much as we can whilst at the same time delivering a festival that provides unique entertainment, across multiple genres to as many people in our community as possible. We aim to enhance the lives of artists and audiences alike by creating a celebration of all things fringe. 70% of all ticket sales go to the artists.
If you wish to help us in our mission to put Newcastle on the global fringe map, to provide opportunities for artists and their performances, to attract visitors to our region to participate and enjoy our festival then we need your help.
Newcastle Fringe Festival Inc. supports independent artists and promotes independent art in Newcastle through its annual Fringe Festival. As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of our donors to continue supporting our creative sector. Donations of $2 and more to our Newcastle Fringe Fund are tax deductible for the donor.
We take our obligations under Australian fundraising laws seriously. Newcastle Fringe Festival Inc. is currently only authorised to conduct fundraising activities under the laws of NSW, and therefore cannot accept donations from outside of NSW.
