We’ve got less than one month left before all the Fringe fun begins and we can’t wait!
It’s that time of the year again when we do the call out for volunteers. As an email subscriber you get the first chance to sign up before we start hitting the socials with the call to arms. We’re looking for people who would like to work on the front of house across a number of shows and venues as well as people who are interested in assisting with our social media activation.
Volunteering with Fringe is a great way to see shows for free, have fun with other volunteers and meet new people, but probably one of the best benefits is being able to include your involvement on your c.v. – great for students of events management, arts and marketing. We also get a lot of return volunteers (because they have such a great time), so if you’re keen to get involved don’t delay, simply fill in the online form located on our website and we’ll be in touch. Support the arts and your local live entertainment scene, feel the buzz and join in the fun.

SEE IT FIRST AT NEWCASTLE FRINGE!
OUR PICKS OF THE PREMIERES
Tickets are already selling so don’t delay if there’s something you’re keen to see. One of the things that Newcastle Fringe is most proud of is that the festival enables emerging artists to create new work and present it to audiences in an affordable and immediate way. It’s the core of why we exist. This year we’ve got loads of shows premiering at the festival – 12 in total, so we’ve put together a quick run down of some of our ‘picks of the premieres’ with direct links to the show pages. In addition to those shows listed below. there’s also 9 Lives, In the Loop, and Chicks Cover the Chair – all of which we have featured in previous newsletters. New work is the juicy, delicious stuff of Fringe festivals and exactly what we’re all about! See it first – before it becomes famous.

PARTNERS ARE THE BEST!
Newcastle Fringe could not happen without the support of our partners. We’ve been very fortunate to have built long standing relationships with several organisations that have remained loyal to our shared purpose of supporting our local performing arts scene and the development of our emerging artists, contributing to a vibrant community and building social equity through artistic expression. Thank you.
