The Hunter Wind Quintet is playing at the Newcastle Fringe Festival!
A wind quintet is both elegant and curious. In the hands of classical composers, the instruments of the quintet alternately sing to or accompany each other, while in modern works, the instruments challenge each other's virtuosity. We will play a one-hour program of quintet classics and curios that showcases the unique skills and sonorities of the ensemble.
